Area Sales Manager – Kuwait, Bahrain & South Africa

About the role

The Area Sales Manager will lead commercial performance across Kuwait, Bahrain and South Africa, driving sales through retail, specialist and e‑commerce channels. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Partnership, you will bridge global brand strategy with local market execution while safeguarding Cartier’s image and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Implement market strategy in line with the Maison’s direction and regional context.
• Identify and develop network opportunities, including real‑estate and boutique projects.
• Achieve sales targets for internal boutiques in South Africa and external partners in Kuwait and Bahrain.
• Forecast revenue, analyse KPIs and propose actions to support growth.
• Coordinate with Visual Merchandising, High‑End, Store Design & Planning and other departments.
• Maintain strong relationships with local partners, ensuring alignment with brand standards.
• Monitor budgets, travel expenses and capital expenditures related to commercial activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in luxury retail or high‑end sales management across multiple markets.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent understanding of regional market dynamics, competitor landscape and client expectations.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and act as a liaison between global strategy and local execution.
• Fluent in English; additional language skills relevant to the territories are a plus.
