Assistant Director of Guest Experience

About the role

The Assistant Director of Guest Experience will lead the guest services and concierge teams at JW Marriott Marquis Dubai, ensuring every guest receives personalized, high‑quality service from arrival to departure.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the guest services and concierge departments, maintaining service standards and efficiency.
• Develop and implement goals, plans, and performance metrics to drive guest satisfaction and financial results.
• Build relationships with local attractions, restaurants and businesses to enhance guest experiences.
• Handle guest requests such as transportation, tickets, and special services, ensuring VIP and repeat guests receive tailored attention.
• Respond to emergencies following established procedures and support loss‑prevention policies.
• Lead, coach, and evaluate concierge staff, conducting performance reviews and providing ongoing training.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar hospitality role and membership in Les Clefs d’Or.
• Higher secondary education or above with basic computer proficiency and a typing speed of at least 40 wpm.
• Strong hospitality knowledge, ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues, and willingness to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Familiarity with hotel operations, local attractions, and the Dubai market.
