About the role

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Spa Manager to lead the spa operations at Fairmont Fujairah Beach Resort. The role involves overseeing daily operations, staff leadership, and strategic initiatives to deliver exceptional guest experiences and drive profitability. As a brand ambassador you will foster a culture of wellness within a multicultural hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all spa operations and facilities to ensure efficiency, safety, and compliance with brand standards.
• Lead, mentor and develop spa staff through performance management and professional development.
• Develop and implement strategic initiatives to market spa services and drive revenue growth.
• Conduct regular performance reviews of therapist schedules, treatment room utilization and staff productivity.
• Monitor competitors and market trends to inform business decisions.
• Oversee inventory checks, procurement and cost optimisation.
• Ensure quality‑assurance standards and audit requirements are consistently met.
• Cultivate strong relationships with internal departments and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a spa or wellness facility in a 5‑star hotel.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage employees, guests and partners.
• Demonstrated leadership in recruitment, training, development and performance management.
• Service‑oriented mindset with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Financial acumen for budget management, cost control and revenue optimisation.
• Analytical mindset to evaluate market trends and make data‑driven decisions.
• Multicultural awareness and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
