Assistant IT Manager

About the role

The Assistant IT Manager will support Renaissance Hotels' technology environment in Dubai, troubleshooting software and hardware issues, providing technical guidance, and helping to improve IT processes across the property.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to computer software, systems and peripheral equipment.
• Provide technical guidance and recommendations to address business challenges.
• Analyze current processes, recommend improvements and implement them.
• Enter commands and operate equipment to integrate and run IT hardware.
• Manage, support and maintain applications, user accounts and POS systems.
• Maintain records of data‑communication transactions, problems and remedial actions.
• Train users on proper use of hardware and software.
• Plan, design, operate and allocate resources for telecommunications activities, including client/server support.
• Consult on administrative policies, technical priorities and methods related to telecommunications.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling and employee coaching.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant IT experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
