Assistant Land Surveyor – Dubai Metro Blue Line

About the role

The Assistant Land Surveyor will support senior surveyors on the Dubai Metro Blue Line project, performing field measurements, operating surveying equipment, and collecting spatial data. This full‑time position offers hands‑on experience in a high‑profile infrastructure environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior surveyors with daily field measurement tasks and land surveys.
• Set up and operate Total Station and GPS/GNSS equipment on site.
• Collect and log spatial data, measure existing structures, and maintain accurate survey records.
• Interpret engineering schematics, structural blueprints, and layout drawings.
• Support site setting‑out procedures for civil, transit, and structural works.
• Prepare daily survey documentation and report findings to project engineers.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years of land or infrastructure surveying experience, preferably on metro, road or heavy civil projects.
• Immediate availability to join in the UAE is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Total Station equipment.
• Experience operating GPS/GNSS receivers.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD for drawing interpretation.
