Associate – Credit (UAE National Ethraa Graduate)

About the role

The Associate – Credit position is part of Emirates Investment Bank’s Ethraa graduate programme, designed for UAE nationals. You will join a six‑month structured training journey that combines classroom learning, international certifications and hands‑on projects before continuing in a full‑time credit role.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating real‑estate‑backed lending proposals, including reviewing property valuations and collateral quality.
• Support the calculation and validation of Loan‑to‑Value (LTV) ratios for equity release and Lombard lending, applying internal policy thresholds and stress scenarios.
• Contribute to structuring equity‑release and top‑up financing proposals against existing property holdings.
• Prepare and help draft Credit Proposal Notes for private‑banking clients.
• Analyze client financial profiles, including income streams, net‑worth statements and liquidity positions.
• Monitor collateral values and margin calls, especially during volatile market conditions.
• Track covenants and exposure limits to ensure compliance with internal policies.
• Liaise with Relationship Managers to gather necessary information and support client interactions.

Required profile

• UAE national and recent graduate eligible for the Ethraa programme.
• Strong interest in banking and credit analysis.
• Willingness to undertake a six‑month training programme and subsequently work full‑time in the credit function.
• Good analytical mindset and attention to detail.
