Associate Director, Ads Sales (Agency Partnerships)

About the role

Careem is building the Everything App for the Middle East and is expanding its Ads business across the UAE, KSA and Egypt. As Associate Director of Ads Sales you will own the agency partnership model, drive revenue growth and shape the product‑market fit for Careem Ads.

Key responsibilities

• Set the Agency GTM Strategy for the region, including annual joint business plans, reseller models and multi‑market expansion.
• Lead and mentor a growing team of Agency Partner Managers, establishing operating rhythms, success metrics and governance.
• Drive enterprise‑level revenue growth by scaling agency‑led buying and delivering multimillion‑dollar contributions.
• Shape product and market fit by providing strategic feedback to Product, Measurement, Creative Ops and Finance.
• Act as a core member of the founding team, building infrastructure, playbooks, brand narrative and GTM for Careem Ads.

Required profile

• 12‑15+ years in media sales, digital advertising or agency partnerships with a proven record of scaling agency ecosystems.
• Strong analytical skills, comfortable using data and tools (Excel/BI) to build forecasts and defend commercial plans.
• Working knowledge of the competitive digital media landscape (Meta, Google, TikTok, Snap, Amazon).
• Executive presence capable of influencing senior stakeholders, including C‑suite.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
• Entrepreneurial, strategic thinker comfortable in ambiguous, 0‑to‑1 environments.
