Associate Director – Regulatory & Risk Advisory, Corporate Treasury

About the role

The Associate Director will join KPMG Lower Gulf’s Regulatory and Risk Advisory (RRA) team, supporting corporate treasury clients across the Middle East. Reporting to senior leadership, you will shape treasury transformation strategies, advise CFOs and Group Treasurers, and drive the delivery of large‑scale programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the growth and strategic development of the corporate treasury practice, including capability building and revenue generation.
• Act as a strategic advisor to senior finance leaders, influencing investment decisions and shaping enterprise‑wide treasury agendas.
• Own and manage client engagements, ensuring high‑quality delivery, risk management, and alignment with business outcomes.
• Develop market propositions, lead go‑to‑market initiatives, and contribute to thought leadership.
• Anticipate regulatory and market trends, translating them into differentiated client solutions.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in corporate treasury, covering in‑house banks, payment factories, cash pooling, liquidity forecasting, FX processes and bank connectivity.
• Proven track record of leading treasury transformation projects, including target operating model design and system implementation.
• Strong leadership and client‑facing skills, with ability to manage diverse teams and large programmes.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of treasury concepts such as In‑House Banking, Payment Factories, POBO/COBO, cash pooling, liquidity forecasting, and FX management.
• Experience with treasury system selection and implementation.
