Pricing Manager – Airline Revenue Optimization

About the role

Responsible for maximising revenue for Etihad Airways by defining product availability, setting optimal prices across diverse market segments, and accurately forecasting consumer demand and fare sales.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver monthly revenue performance against agreed targets and optimise network revenue.
• Set optimal prices by market segment according to a pricing strategy versus benchmark carriers, securing market manager buy‑in and adhering to pricing policies.
• Manage and forecast demand for Etihad’s products and services at various pricing levels, focusing on revenue maximisation during high‑demand periods and special events.
• Ensure accuracy of forecasted consumer demand and selling fares, feeding critical inputs to the revenue‑management optimisation engine.
• Make daily decisions to adjust price and demand levels based on market, economic factors and competitor behaviour.
• Evaluate pricing requests from commercial stakeholders and set pricing using logical, fact‑based analysis.
• Contribute to the development of customer‑centric product offerings and oversee revenue‑management operations to achieve commercial objectives.

Required profile

• Degree‑level education or equivalent analytical experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a numerate and analytical role.
• High familiarity with airline systems such as PROS, Origin & Destination Systems, GDS, MIDT, and management accounting reports.
