Associate Professor of Artificial Intelligence (Full‑Time)

About the role

The American University in the Emirates (AUE) is seeking a full‑time Associate Professor in Artificial Intelligence for the 2026‑2027 academic year. The successful candidate will join a vibrant, multicultural campus in Dubai International Academic City and contribute to teaching, research and curriculum development in AI.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver graduate‑level courses such as Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Data Analytics and AI Systems.
• Supervise Master’s theses and research projects.
• Lead or participate in funded research projects aligned with emerging AI domains.
• Develop and update curriculum, supporting the MSAIDS program and Outcome‑Based Education.
• Contribute to accreditation, quality assurance and interdisciplinary collaborations.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 5–7 years of post‑doctoral academic experience with progression to Associate Professor rank.
• Strong publication record in Scopus/WoS indexed journals and conferences.
• Experience in multicultural teaching environments and fluency in English (Arabic a plus).
