About the role
The school is seeking a qualified Grade 2 Homeroom Teacher on a maternity‑cover basis. The successful candidate will join the elementary team in Abu Dhabi and deliver engaging English, Mathematics and Science lessons to young learners. Immediate joining is required and the role is full‑time.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver curriculum‑aligned lessons in English, Mathematics and Science for Grade 2 students.
- Create a positive, inclusive and well‑managed classroom environment.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate academic records.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student learning and participate in school activities.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field with a recognized teaching qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of elementary teaching experience and IELTS score of 7.0 (mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of elementary curriculum planning and familiarity with the UAE school system (advantage).
