ATC Team Leader – Dubai Metro

About the role

The ATC Team Leader will supervise a dedicated line‑maintenance crew responsible for the Automatic Train Control (ATC) system of the Dubai Metro. The role ensures safe, reliable operation of signalling and train‑control equipment across control centres, stations and depots.

Key responsibilities

• Lead ATC technicians in preventive, corrective and minor modification tasks on system management, vehicle control and lineside equipment.
• Oversee installation, servicing and repair of signalling hardware in control rooms, stations, depots and on‑board trains.
• Ensure use of proper tools, technical drawings, schematics and manuals during maintenance activities.
• Manage replacement of faulty signalling components and coordinate repairs with the electronics workshop.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records in a computerized maintenance management system.
• Provide technical support for complex system implementations and new projects.
• Conduct training, assessment and job familiarisation for sub‑ordinates.
• Perform shift and emergency duties, including driving work vehicles when required.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in railway signalling or ATC maintenance (minimum 1 month indicated).
• Ability to supervise a technical team and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Strong understanding of technical standards; regular competence assessments.
• IRSE licence on railway signalling equipment is an advantage.
