About the role
The Assistant Vice President, Compliance Advisory will support Business and Enablement units on all compliance matters as directed by the VP Compliance. This Emiratized position acts as the first point of contact for compliance queries, ensures adherence to regulatory requirements, and participates in day‑to‑day compliance deliverables.
Key responsibilities
- Provide compliance support to business and enablement units, acting as the first point of contact for compliance queries delegated by the VP Compliance.
- Conduct daily, weekly and monthly follow‑ups with business units, attend meetings, and support the preparation and filing of regulatory reports and risk assessments.
- Advise on rollout and implementation of group‑wide compliance policies, and represent compliance in governance meetings and operational forums.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Banking, Finance or a related field; compliance certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in banking or a financial institution, with exposure to regulatory compliance and risk assessment.
