Barista – Dubai The Palm

About the role

We are seeking a passionate, service‑oriented Barista to join the Food & Beverage team at NH Collection Dubai The Palm. You will craft high‑quality coffee and beverage experiences while delivering warm, professional service to our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, tea and other beverages according to hotel recipes and standards.
• Provide friendly, attentive service and accurate order taking.
• Maintain knowledge of coffee varieties, brewing methods and menu items.
• Recommend beverages based on guest preferences and support upselling.
• Operate, clean and maintain coffee machines, grinders and related equipment.
• Keep the coffee station and service areas tidy and organized.
• Monitor stock levels, assist with requisitions and ensure proper storage rotation.
• Process orders and guest bills accurately using the POS system.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, health and safety, and hotel procedures at all times.
• Assist with opening, closing and other operational duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Barista, preferably in a hotel, café or restaurant.
• Good knowledge of coffee preparation, espresso‑based drinks and coffee equipment.
• Basic latte art skills are an advantage.
• Passion for hospitality and delivering excellent guest service.
• Friendly, positive personality with strong communication skills.
• Good command of spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
• Ability to work in a busy environment, flexible for shifts, weekends and public holidays.
