Front Desk Agent - Russian Speaker

About the role

The Front Desk Agent will welcome guests, manage check‑in and check‑out procedures and represent the hotel’s brand with a professional and caring attitude. This position requires fluency in Russian and English to serve international visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Check in arriving guests, register them, assign rooms and accommodate special requests.
• Verify payment methods, follow credit‑checking procedures and handle cash transactions.
• Process guest check‑out, settle accounts, issue invoices and manage last‑minute charges.
• Perform front‑office cashier duties, including posting charges and foreign currency exchange.
• Balance cash float at the end of each shift.
• Answer guest inquiries by phone or in person, provide information and refer issues as needed.
• Coordinate room status updates with housekeeping for late check‑outs, early check‑ins and special requests.
• Use suggestive selling techniques to promote rooms and hotel services.
• Maintain a neat and organized work area and stay informed about hotel products and services.

Required profile

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a similar front‑desk role, preferably in a luxury five‑star hotel.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Russian.
