BIM Modeler – CCTV, ACS & Telecom – Dubai

About the role

We are seeking an experienced BIM Modeler to develop and maintain BIM models for CCTV, Access Control and Telecom systems on a rail and transport infrastructure project in Dubai, UAE. The role involves converting design and as‑built data into accurate 3‑D models and supporting technical hand‑over documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and update BIM models for CCTV, Access Control and Telecom systems.
• Convert design and as‑built information into coordinated BIM models.
• Model CCTV devices, cameras, equipment locations and associated components.
• Model Access Control devices, interfaces and low‑voltage installations.
• Model Telecom equipment, cable pathways, fibre routes and related infrastructure.
• Incorporate architectural interfaces and cable‑containment requirements.
• Review technical drawings, installation records and engineering information.
• Coordinate BIM models with architectural, structural and other engineering disciplines.
• Conduct model reviews, identify clashes and resolve coordination issues using Navisworks.
• Maintain model accuracy, file structure, revision control and documentation consistency.
• Produce model views, coordinated drawings and other BIM deliverables.
• Support preparation of final As‑Built BIM models and technical hand‑over documentation.
• Participate in technical coordination meetings and site verification activities.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, BIM, Drafting or a related technical discipline.
• Proven experience as a BIM Modeler, BIM Technician or BIM Coordinator.
• Strong hands‑on proficiency with Autodesk Revit.
• Practical experience using Navisworks for model review and coordination.
• Working knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, Telecom, ELV and low‑voltage systems.
