Blockchain Expert

About the role

The Blockchain Expert will join Bybit’s R&D team to drive research and tooling development for core blockchain technologies such as cryptography, smart contracts, and consensus mechanisms.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in research and tooling development for blockchain foundational technologies (cryptography, smart contracts, consensus mechanisms, etc.)
• Conduct in-depth research and implementation of MPC algorithms and improve the company’s private key signing system
• Conduct in-depth security research on TEE‑based solutions

Required profile

• Solid understanding of cryptography fundamentals, including homomorphic encryption, secret sharing, and zero‑knowledge proofs
• Fast learner with sharp analytical thinking, clear logical reasoning, strong security mindset, and good team collaboration skills

Required skills

• Proficiency in at least one mainstream MPC protocol (e.g., GG18, FROST, MST, or TSS) with practical coding experience
• Proficiency in Go, Rust, or C++ and ability to read cryptographic library source code
• Familiarity with libraries such as libOTe, EMP‑toolkit, MP‑SPDZ, zkp.js, or tss‑lib (a plus)
• Experience with custodial/MPC wallet solutions like Fireblocks, ZenGo, or Qredo (a plus)
