Branch Incharge - Currency Exchange

About the role

Al Rostamani International Exchange, part of the Al Rostamani Group, provides currency exchange and international remittance services in the UAE. As Branch Incharge, you will process cash, cheque and other financial transactions accurately and efficiently, supervise a team of staff and ensure compliance and control across branch operations.

Key responsibilities

• Keep cash counters operational and serve customers according to ARIE service standards, while keeping wait and serve times low
• Advise customers on ARIE products and services, guide them to the right departments and handle escalated complaints
• Maintain optimal profit margins, monitor exchange rates, prepare competition analysis reports and drive cross-selling and customer retention
• Handle foreign currency, remittances and other transactions in line with company policy, including accurate cash balancing and bank deposits
• Secure financial instruments such as drafts, cheques and travellers cheques, and report cash under/overs immediately
• Carry out due diligence on AML compliance and KYC, and guide staff toward zero defects in operations
• Monitor cashier performance, identify training needs and propose improvements

Required profile

• Graduate in a related field, preferably with an accounting background
• 5+ years of experience as a cashier/teller, including at least 2 years in a senior branch operations role at a bank or reputable exchange house
• Previous experience with large volumes of cash handling is an added advantage
