Business Development Manager – PV Inverters

About the role

Delta Electronics is looking for a Business Development Manager to drive growth of its PV inverter portfolio in the UAE. You will turn market insights into commercial opportunities, build relationships with prospects and partners, and help customers advance the energy transition.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new business opportunities, define focus areas and guide prospects from first contact to commercial closure.
• Meet prospects and partners, understand their technical and commercial needs, and translate them into credible value propositions.
• Develop tailored business cases, commercial models and proposals that simplify decision‑making for customers.
• Monitor market signals, competitor activity and customer feedback, and convert insights into actionable improvements.
• Maintain transparent communication with customers, partners and internal teams, ensuring reliable follow‑through.
• Track milestones and commercial indicators to make progress visible and drive results.

Required profile

• Analytical and calm demeanor when evaluating complex business scenarios or high‑stakes negotiations.
• Exceptional listening skills to capture client needs and market signals.
• Strategic, big‑picture focus linking macro market trends to commercial opportunities.
• Full professional proficiency in English and Arabic (mandatory); additional languages are a plus.
• 3‑5 years of B2B sales or business development experience in PV, PCS, BESS or related energy technologies.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.

Required skills

• Knowledge of photovoltaic (PV) inverter technology.
• Familiarity with power conversion systems (PCS) and battery energy storage systems (BESS).
• Electrical engineering fundamentals.
