Captain – Brasserie La Farine

About the role

The Captain at Brasserie La Farine, located in JW Marriott Marquis Dubai, leads banquet and restaurant service operations. You will coordinate with chefs, stewards and guests to ensure flawless execution of events and dining experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate service needs to chefs and stewards throughout functions.
• Prepare and present group checks, handling total charges and payments.
• Set up banquet rooms, restaurants and coffee‑break areas according to event standards.
• Ensure proper centrepieces, table settings and cleanliness of china, glass and silver.
• Check in with guests to confirm satisfaction and address special dietary requests.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and adhere to safety and security policies.
• Uphold uniform standards, professional appearance and confidentiality of company information.
• Assist with moving, lifting and arranging items up to 25 lb and stand for extended periods.
