Line Cook – Fast‑paced Kitchen in Dubai

About the role

Join Ounass as a Line Cook and work in a dynamic, fast‑paced kitchen environment in Dubai. You will prepare high‑quality dishes, learn from experienced chefs and contribute to a seamless service flow.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food items according to recipes, quality standards and service requirements.
• Set up and operate your assigned kitchen station efficiently before, during and after service.
• Handle food preparation tasks such as washing, cutting, marinating and portioning ingredients.
• Monitor cooking times, temperatures and portion sizes to maintain quality and minimise waste.
• Maintain food safety, personal hygiene and kitchen cleanliness throughout each shift.
• Assist with receiving, checking and storing deliveries when required.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues to ensure smooth and timely service delivery.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Line Cook, Commis Chef, Chef de Partie or similar role is preferred.
• Good understanding of food preparation, cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
• Knowledge of food hygiene, health and safety standards and allergen awareness.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
