Car Polisher – Automotive Bodyshop

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Car Polisher to join our bodyshop team in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for delivering a flawless, high‑gloss finish on vehicle surfaces after painting, ensuring every car leaves the shop looking its best.

Key responsibilities

• Polish vehicle surfaces after painting to achieve a smooth, high‑quality finish.
• Operate polishing machines and equipment safely and effectively.
• Apply appropriate polishing compounds, pads and buffs based on surface requirements.
• Remove scratches, swirl marks, paint imperfections and other defects.
• Inspect finished surfaces to guarantee a consistent, professional result.
• Replace worn polishing buffs and related components using proper tools.
• Maintain and store polishing equipment in clean, safe condition.
• Collaborate closely with the Polishing Foreman and Bodyshop team to complete jobs efficiently.
• Follow all SOPs, health‑and‑safety guidelines and company quality standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional car polishing experience, preferably in an automotive bodyshop.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic English communication skills.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of automotive polishing and finishing techniques.
• Ability to operate polishing machines and related equipment safely.
• Familiarity with polishing compounds, buffs, pads and detailing materials.
• Skill in identifying surface defects and selecting the correct polishing method.
• Understanding of vehicle paintwork and finishing requirements.
