Specialist, Project Management

About the role

The Project Specialist will support the planning, coordination, execution, monitoring, and control of projects within the Project Management Department of EDGE's REMAYA test and evaluation unit. This position bridges clients, internal technical teams, suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure projects meet scope, schedule, budget and quality requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead projects from contract award through to completion and handover, developing and maintaining project plans, schedules and documentation.
• Coordinate activities across engineering, procurement, operations, suppliers and other stakeholders, monitoring milestones and resolving issues.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts, cost variances and track performance against approved milestones.
• Maintain risk, issue, change and variation registers, assessing impacts and supporting recovery planning.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, acceptance activities and support project handover and close‑out.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, etc.).
• Experience managing projects with knowledge of budgeting, cost estimation and risk assessment.
• Strong stakeholder coordination and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Effective communication, analytical and reporting capabilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with project tracking tools such as MS Project.
• Familiarity with Power BI for performance monitoring.
