Cashier – Retail – Dubai Mall

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Cashier to join the Bloomingdale's team at Dubai Mall. In this position you will handle cash and credit transactions, provide high‑quality customer service, and ensure the safe custody of all monetary assets.

Key responsibilities

• Receive cash, credit cards and other authorized payments from customers and issue receipts or bills.
• Reconcile cash and credit receipts with sales figures and prepare daily cash summary reports for the accountant.
• Safeguard cash and related documents, depositing cash and cheques in the bank each day.
• Answer phone calls and customer queries professionally, enhancing the store’s image.
• Monitor petty‑cash usage, authorize approved payments, and submit periodic accounts for verification.
• Track customer traffic and compile daily reports.

Required profile

• High school qualification.
• 2‑3 years of experience in a similar cashier or retail role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of personal integrity and a pleasant, well‑groomed appearance.
• Customer‑service orientation and attention to detail.
