Inside Sales Officer (UAE National)

About the role

We are seeking a driven Inside Sales Officer (UAE National) to join Etihad Airways’ commercial team in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on early‑stage sales activities, from prospecting to converting leads into revenue‑generating accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Drive new business generation through outbound prospecting (calls, email, virtual channels).
• Qualify leads and convert them into sales opportunities and active accounts.
• Manage a portfolio of low‑touch B2B accounts, driving activation, engagement and upsell.
• Execute structured outreach campaigns across multiple lead sources (events, referrals, dormant accounts, web enquiries).
• Deliver against KPIs such as lead response time, conversion ratios and revenue per account.
• Maintain and update Salesforce CRM with accurate activity tracking and pipeline data.
• Promote and sell commercial offers, private fares and incentive campaigns.
• Identify trends (customer objections, pricing, competitors) and share insights with stakeholders.
• Reactivate dormant accounts by analysing historical activity and re‑engaging with targeted propositions.
• Support onboarding of new accounts, including access setup and system enablement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales or a related field.
• Minimum 4+ years’ experience in inside sales, B2B sales or customer service.
• Strong experience in lead generation, nurturing and conversion.
• Hands‑on experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
• Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify revenue opportunities.
