Certification Center Officer

About the role

The Certification Center Officer ensures the correct and timely issuance of Certificates of Conformity while meeting productivity and quality targets. The role involves assessing product and exporter risk levels, providing technical opinions on standards and classifications, and supporting compliance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure correct and timely Certificate of Conformity (CoC) issuance.
• Assess product and exporter risk levels and identify essential requirements and applicable standards.
• Provide quality‑based opinions on product standards, classification and certification.
• Assist in resolving standards, classification and certification cases.
• Review and analyse products, processes or documentation for regulatory compliance.
• Conduct conformity assessments, audits and gap analyses.
• Interpret national and international standards (e.g., ISO, IEC, regulatory directives).
• Prepare conformity reports, risk assessments and corrective‑action plans.
• Liaise with internal teams, regulators, certification bodies and external auditors.
• Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact.
• Support certification, accreditation and approval processes.
• Investigate non‑conformities and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain accurate compliance records and communicate timely with customers.
• Perform KPI‑driven tasks adhering to strict timelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Pharmaceutical or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in a related field.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO standards.
• Knowledge of IEC standards.
