Chef De Partie - Bakery

About the role

The Chef de Partie – Bakery will join the culinary team at Anantara Retreat Santorini Abu Dhabi, overseeing the bakery operations within the hotel’s restaurant. Reporting to the restaurant chef, you will ensure a safe, efficient and profitable kitchen while delivering high‑quality baked goods that meet Anantara’s standards.

Key responsibilities

• Organise all activities in the bakery area, maintaining smooth daily operations.
• Support the development and implementation of restaurant cuisine concepts and standards.
• Monitor local market trends and supplier offerings, recommending menu changes based on seasonal availability.
• Apply Anantara’s food preparation and presentation guidelines to guarantee consistent quality.
• Maintain food safety, proper storage, rotation and sanitation practices throughout the bakery.
• Ensure outlet safety and manage assets and equipment responsibly.
• Participate in departmental training and mentor team members to uphold service excellence.
• Foster positive inter‑departmental communication and cooperation.

Required profile

• Experience working in a hotel or restaurant bakery environment.
• Familiarity with local suppliers and seasonal product sourcing.
• Strong understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
• Ability to follow and improve presentation guidelines.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
