Chef de Partie – Music Hall Kitchen

About the role

The Music Hall Kitchen at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray is looking for a dedicated Chef de Partie to oversee a specific section of the kitchen. You will ensure smooth operations, maintain the brand’s high standards, and prepare dishes in line with daily business requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Organise mise‑en‑place production and service for the assigned section.
• Delegate tasks to Demi Chefs and Commis, verifying correct execution.
• Prepare daily wine, dry‑store, food requisitions and kitchen transfers for Executive Chef approval.
• Maintain strong colleague relationships and motivate the team.
• Conduct one‑to‑one training and ensure comprehension.
• Check daily food preparation for portion size, quantity and quality according to recipe index.
• Complete daily checklists for mise‑en‑place and food storage.
• Attend daily meetings with the Chef de Cuisine and other briefings as required.
• Monitor information boards for banquet changes and relay details to the next shift.

Required profile

• Male or female with a pleasing personality.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse nationalities and religions.
• Minimum 5 years of kitchen experience.
• Completed at least one year of kitchen apprenticeship or chef training.
• At least one year of experience in a five‑star international hotel chain.
• Broad knowledge of cooking techniques and methods.
