Cloud Domain Architect

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Cloud Domain Architect to lead Azure enterprise architecture, landing zones and solution governance in Abu Dhabi. The role is 100 % onsite and focuses on translating security policies into concrete design patterns and ensuring compliance with data‑residency regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain Azure landing zones, virtual networks (VNets), identity and access management (Entra ID/RBAC) and disaster‑recovery strategies.
• Translate enterprise, security and operational policies into Azure architecture standards, design templates, review checklists and governance artifacts.
• Author, review and validate High‑Level Designs (HLDs) and Low‑Level Designs (LLDs) for complex infrastructure and application deployments.
• Assess cloud solutions from delivery teams and vendors for scalability, availability, performance and legal compliance.
• Identify architectural gaps, technical debt and security non‑compliance, and define remediation pathways.
• Promote Infrastructure as Code (IaC) adoption and reusable deployment patterns.

Required profile

• 8–15 years of total IT/infrastructure experience, with 4–8 years in a hands‑on solution or cloud architecture role.
• Fluent written and spoken English; Arabic is a strong advantage.
• Ability to start immediately or within a 30‑day notice period.
• Willingness to work 100 % onsite in Abu Dhabi.

Required skills

• Microsoft Azure, including Azure Landing Zones, VNets and Azure Policy.
• Entra ID (RBAC) and identity management.
• Creation of High‑Level Designs (HLD) and Low‑Level Designs (LLD).
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and reusable service templates.
• Cloud governance frameworks and data‑residency compliance.
