About the role
The Commis 1 will support the All Day Dining operations at Ajman Saray, a Luxury Collection Resort, ensuring high standards of food preparation, presentation, and service.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare special meals, substitute items and cold foods according to recipes and quality standards.
- Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills and roasters; thaw frozen items safely.
- Maintain food logs, monitor portion sizes, arrangement and garnish.
- Communicate with chefs and service staff about specials, excess items and out‑of‑stock menu items.
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling and employee coaching.
- Follow safety, security and uniform policies; report accidents and maintenance needs.
Required profile
- Technical, trade or vocational school degree.
- At least 3 years of related culinary experience.
