About the role
Anantara Hotels & Resorts, a global luxury brand rooted in Thai culture, is seeking a Commis II to join its Downtown Dubai property. The role supports the culinary team by preparing and serving food, maintaining high standards of hygiene, and contributing to a memorable guest experience. This full‑time position offers the chance to develop skills in a dynamic, internationally‑renowned hotel environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and service of food across all outlets.
- Prepare mise en place according to outlet requirements.
- Follow Anantara food preparation and presentation guidelines to ensure consistent quality.
- Identify and suggest improvements to presentation standards.
- Maintain clean and tidy work areas to uphold hygiene standards.
- Ensure food safety by proper handling, dating, storage, and rotation.
- Follow basic sanitation practices and health regulations.
- Care for hotel property, equipment, and facilities.
- Participate in departmental training to enhance skills and service levels.
- Support events, banquets, and other functions as needed.
