Commissioning I&C Lead

About the role

The Commissioning I&C Lead will oversee instrumentation and control commissioning activities for a major oil and gas project in Abu Dhabi. This 12‑month contract starts on 15 September 2026 and involves on‑site leadership at the Ruwais site.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the I&C commissioning team to deliver scope on schedule and within budget.
• Coordinate with client, subcontractors, and internal disciplines to ensure seamless integration.
• Manage the 8‑weeks‑on/2‑weeks‑off rotation, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
• Prepare and review commissioning procedures, test plans, and documentation.
• Report progress, risks, and issues to senior management.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of I&C commissioning experience on large oil and gas projects.
• At least 5 years in a site leadership role.
• Proven experience working in the Middle East.
