Compliance Manager - Engineering, Quick Commerce

About the role

Amazon Now is looking for an experienced Regulatory & Compliance Manager to join its team and ensure technical and regulatory compliance across engineering operations. The role is key to maintaining compliance standards while scaling engineering infrastructure in the UAE. It covers end-to-end compliance management, including due diligence, permits and renewals, and working with external partners to build compliance frameworks that meet building codes and operational regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage engineering compliance from project initiation through to operation.
• Develop and implement engineering compliance frameworks aligned with regional regulatory requirements.
• Review technical drawings and engineering solutions against industry standards and regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement of engineering compliance processes and controls.
• Advise internal and external stakeholders on technical compliance matters.
• Maintain relationships with regulatory authorities on technical compliance issues.
• Run technical compliance audits and assessments with internal cross-functional teams.

Required profile

• 5+ years in compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• Experience handling confidential information.
• Preferred: 3+ years defining program requirements and using data and metrics to drive improvements.
• Preferred: professional auditing qualification or similar risk or compliance credentials.
