Investment Funds Lawyer – 3-4 Years PQE, Dubai

About the role

A prestigious international law firm, known for its strong Middle East investment funds and regulatory practice, is hiring an Investment Funds Associate with 3 to 4 years of post-qualification experience to join its Dubai office. The associate works closely with market-leading partners on fund formation and regulatory matters, with the chance to lead complex transactions and expand a premium regional practice.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate, draft and launch alternative investment funds, private equity funds, venture capital vehicles and real estate funds across regional and international jurisdictions.
• Establish fund structures in the DIFC (DFSA) and ADGM (FSRA) financial centres.
• Draft, review and negotiate bespoke side letters and manage negotiations with institutional investors, private wealth offices and sovereign wealth funds.
• Advise on domestic and cross-border regulatory frameworks for private placements and public or regulated funds.

Required profile

• 3-4 years of PQE in a top-tier international or leading regional law firm's investment funds practice.
• Hands-on experience establishing investment funds in the DIFC and ADGM.
• Solid transactional background, including drafting alternative investment documents and negotiating with institutional investors independently.
• Familiarity with UAE, UK or Luxembourg regulatory frameworks is highly desirable.
