Construction Manager

About the role

The Construction Manager will lead the planning, coordination and execution of high‑rise building projects in Dubai. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will ensure that all construction activities are carried out safely, on schedule, within budget and in full compliance with project specifications and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, monitor and control site activities to meet productivity targets and approved schedules.
• Develop and implement construction methodologies, method statements and production control systems.
• Prepare work packages, construction sequences and pre‑start activity plans.
• Coordinate logistics with procurement and stores to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Supervise on‑site construction, allocate responsibilities and ensure compliance with drawings, specifications and quality requirements.
• Track design changes, site instructions and communicate them to relevant parties.
• Lead subcontractor teams, conduct regular site meetings and monitor progress, productivity and quality.
• Review quality observations, NCRs and inspection reports, and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Manage non‑conforming works, remedial activities and oversee inspections and tests before cover‑up.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, local authorities and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Coordinate with the Commercial Manager/Quantity Surveyor on cost‑impacting changes, variations and claims.
• Implement health, safety and environmental procedures on site.

Required profile

• Proven experience in high‑rise building projects in Dubai.
