About the role
Penspen is hiring a Construction Manager based in Abu Dhabi, experienced in service station and industrial engineering projects. The project manager manages site construction activities so that the project is completed safely, on time, within budget and in line with approved drawings and project requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate and supervise daily construction activities.
- Manage site teams, subcontractors, materials and equipment.
- Monitor progress against the project schedule and resolve delays.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards and HSE requirements.
- Coordinate with the client, consultants and engineering teams.
- Review work plans, method statements and progress reports.
- Oversee inspections, snag clearance and project handover.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field (minimum 4-year programme).
- 20 years of overall experience, including 12 years in a similar role.
- Fluent Arabic and English (spoken and written).
- Valid UAE driving licence.
- Resident of Abu Dhabi.
