Consultant Allergist and Immunologist – Dubai

About the role

We are looking for a highly experienced Consultant Allergist and Immunologist to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team in Dubai. The successful candidate will lead the diagnosis, treatment and long‑term management of allergic and immune‑mediated disorders for both adult and pediatric patients, ensuring evidence‑based, patient‑centred care.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of allergic conditions, including rhinitis, asthma, atopic dermatitis, food, drug and insect venom allergies, urticaria, angioedema and anaphylaxis.
• Evaluate and treat primary and secondary immunodeficiency, autoimmune and other immune‑mediated diseases within allergy and clinical immunology.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures such as skin prick, intradermal and patch testing, pulmonary function testing and laboratory investigations (IgE, immunologic studies).
• Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating avoidance strategies, pharmacotherapy, allergen immunotherapy and biologic therapies.
• Administer and monitor allergen immunotherapy, managing adverse reactions and emergency anaphylaxis according to clinical guidelines.
• Educate patients and families on prevention, trigger avoidance, medication use and emergency action plans.
• Collaborate with pulmonologists, dermatologists, ENT specialists, pediatricians, gastroenterologists and other team members to optimise outcomes.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in line with DHA regulations and participate in audits, research and continuous education.
• Supervise and mentor junior physicians, residents and allied health professionals.

Required profile

• Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognised institution.
• Residency in Internal Medicine or Pediatrics.
• Fellowship or subspecialty training in Allergy and Clinical Immunology.
• Board certification in Allergy and Clinical Immunology.
• DHA eligibility letter, DHA licence or eligibility for consultant licensure in Dubai.
• Minimum 8–10 years post‑specialisation experience as a Consultant Allergist and Immunologist.
