About the role

A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in UAE is expanding its adult cardiac surgery, valve, coronary and advanced perioperative cardiac care services and is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Cardiac Surgeon to join its growing clinical team. Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients requiring adult cardiac surgical intervention.
• Perform coronary, valve, aortic or other cardiac procedures according to expertise and facility privileges.
• Lead perioperative planning with cardiology, cardiac anaesthesia, perfusion, ICU and rehabilitation teams.
• Participate in heart team meetings, risk assessment, consent and outcome review.
• Manage postoperative recovery, complications, follow‑up and long‑term care coordination.
• Support quality, infection control, surgical registry, audit and patient safety programs.

Required profile

• Strong clinical judgement with commitment to evidence‑based practice and patient safety.
• Excellent communication skills with culturally diverse patients and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to adapt to UAE healthcare regulations, documentation standards and hospital governance expectations.
