Consultant Colon & Rectal Surgeon – UAE (UK CCT Certified)

About the role

Leading Private Hospital in the UAE seeks an experienced Consultant Colon and Rectal Surgeon to deliver expert surgical care for colorectal disorders. The role involves managing benign and malignant conditions of the colon, rectum, and anus within a multidisciplinary, patient‑centred environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform advanced colorectal surgeries, including open, laparoscopic, and endoscopic procedures.
• Manage complex colorectal disease cases and colorectal oncology patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Provide mentorship and leadership to junior surgical staff.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to hospital protocols.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• UK CCT in General Surgery with a colorectal fellowship or equivalent international board certification.
• Minimum 5 years post‑CCT/Board Certification experience as a Consultant Colon and Rectal Surgeon.
• Eligibility for a UAE health authority licence (DHA, DOH, or MOH).
• Strong clinical judgment, decision‑making, and leadership abilities.
