Consultant Emergency Medicine Physician – Dubai (Tax-Free)

About the role

The hospital is expanding its emergency and acute care services in Dubai and seeks a Consultant Emergency Medicine Physician to join a multidisciplinary emergency department. The role involves delivering rapid, high‑quality care to a diverse international patient population in a modern, fully equipped facility.

Key responsibilities

• Perform rapid assessment, diagnosis and management of medical, surgical and traumatic emergencies.
• Stabilize life‑threatening conditions including cardiac, respiratory and neurological emergencies.
• Carry out emergency procedures such as airway management, intubation, wound care, fracture stabilization and procedural sedation.
• Lead advanced life support and cardiac arrest teams and coordinate trauma response.
• Utilize point‑of‑care testing, imaging and laboratory investigations to guide clinical decisions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient admission, referral or discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and adhere to evidence‑based protocols.

Required profile

• Board‑certified or specialist qualification in Emergency Medicine (e.g., ABEM, UK CCT/FRCEM, European Board, Royal College, FACEM, Arab Board, FCPS).
• Minimum three years of post‑specialist experience in an emergency department.
• Eligibility for DHA/DOH/MOH licensing in the UAE (support provided).
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.
