Consultant Internal Medicine (American Board) – Dubai

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Internal Medicine Physician to join a leading healthcare organization in Dubai. The role involves delivering high‑quality inpatient and outpatient care to adult patients with complex medical conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide consultant‑level assessment, diagnosis, treatment and follow‑up for a broad range of acute and chronic adult conditions.
• Develop evidence‑based, individualized treatment plans and manage patients with multiple comorbidities.
• Coordinate referrals, collaborate with subspecialists and participate in multidisciplinary case discussions.
• Conduct pre‑operative medical assessments, monitor treatment response and ensure accurate patient documentation.
• Engage in clinical audits, quality improvement, research activities and mentorship of junior staff.

Required profile

• American Board Certification in Internal Medicine (mandatory).
• Valid UAE professional license or eligibility for licensing in Dubai.
• Consultant‑level experience in internal medicine, preferably in a tertiary‑care or multispecialty hospital.
• Strong diagnostic reasoning, clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Commitment to patient‑centred care, safety, teaching and continuous professional development.

Required skills

• Medical degree (MBBS, MD, MBChB or equivalent).
• American Board Certification in Internal Medicine.
• UAE professional medical license.
