Consultant NICU – Saudi Arabia

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Consultant NICU to join our team at Allocation Assist Middle East in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will deliver expert neonatal intensive care, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and clinical excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Provide specialized care to newborns in the NICU, including premature infants and those with respiratory distress or congenital abnormalities.
• Diagnose, treat, and stabilize critically ill newborns using appropriate medical interventions.
• Interpret diagnostic tests such as X‑rays and blood analyses to guide treatment decisions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic patient care.
• Educate parents and families on newborn care and post‑discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate medical records and document patient progress.

Required profile

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Specialist training in Neonatology and/or Pediatric Critical Care Medicine.
• Minimum 3 years experience as a Consultant NICU in a reputable healthcare facility.
• Valid license to practice in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure.
