Consultant Paediatric Radiotherapist

About the role

A leading healthcare organization in Abu Dhabi is looking for a Consultant Paediatric Radiotherapist. The role combines clinical work in radiation therapy for children with managerial duties supporting hospital policy, quality and governance.

Key responsibilities

• Support hospital policies, quality initiatives and clinical governance processes
• Take part in peer review and departmental meetings
• Work closely with oncology teams to deliver coordinated patient care
• Provide radiation therapy treatment planning for paediatric oncology patients
• Manage treatment for paediatric tumors, including CNS tumors and solid malignancies
• Collaborate with paediatric oncologists, radiologists and surgeons
• Take part in tumour board meetings and multidisciplinary case discussions
• Supervise junior medical staff and contribute to clinical research and teaching

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent)
• Specialization in Radiation Oncology / Radiotherapy
• Fellowship or experience in paediatric radiation oncology preferred
• Tier 1 qualification as per Abu Dhabi PQR
• Minimum 5 years of post-specialization experience
• Valid DOH license or eligibility
