Consultant Pediatric Hematologist

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Consultant Pediatric Hematologist to join a leading hospital in Dubai. The role focuses on diagnosing and managing complex blood disorders in children, emphasizing evidence‑based care and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat pediatric hematologic conditions such as anemia, hemophilia, sickle‑cell disease, thalassemia, platelet disorders, clotting abnormalities and bone‑marrow failure syndromes.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including transfusions, iron chelation and immunotherapy.
• Collaborate with pediatric oncologists, pathologists and geneticists for integrated patient care.
• Provide counseling and education to families and participate in tumor boards, clinical audits and quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Board‑certified in Pediatric Hematology (American Board, UK CCT or equivalent).
• Eligibility for DHA licensure or a valid DHA license.
• Minimum five years of post‑specialization experience in a tertiary or academic setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a family‑centered approach.
