Consultant Pediatric Nephrologist in Dubai

About the role

We are looking for a highly qualified Consultant Pediatric Nephrologist to join a leading hospital in Dubai. The role involves delivering expert diagnosis, treatment and long‑term management of kidney and urinary tract disorders for infants, children and adolescents within a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a wide range of pediatric kidney conditions, including CAKUT, nephrotic and nephritic syndromes, AKI, CKD, hypertension and hereditary renal disorders.
• Manage pediatric dialysis programs (peritoneal and hemodialysis) and coordinate renal replacement therapy.
• Oversee renal transplant evaluations, perform post‑transplant follow‑up and collaborate with transplant teams.
• Interpret renal imaging, kidney biopsy results and specialized laboratory investigations.
• Provide education and counseling to patients and families, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and participate in multidisciplinary meetings, teaching and research.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and specialty training in Pediatrics with fellowship or board certification in Pediatric Nephrology.
• Western‑trained education or clinical experience (UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years post‑specialization experience as a Consultant Pediatric Nephrologist in a tertiary or academic hospital.
• Valid DHA, DOH or MOH Consultant licence.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication and commitment to family‑centered, evidence‑based care.
