Consultant Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Specialist – Dubai

About the role

We are seeking a Board‑Certified Consultant in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation to lead our expanding rehabilitation and pain‑management division in Dubai. You will work in a state‑of‑the‑art, JCI‑accredited facility delivering advanced, multidisciplinary care to an international patient base.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage musculoskeletal, neurological and functional impairments.
• Design individualized rehabilitation programs for stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, chronic pain and sports injuries.
• Perform interventional procedures such as joint injections, nerve blocks and ultrasound‑guided treatments.
• Collaborate with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists and pain specialists.
• Monitor patient progress, adjust plans and provide post‑operative rehabilitation guidance.
• Lead non‑surgical and minimally invasive pain‑management strategies.
• Educate patients and families on recovery pathways and preventive care.
• Maintain clinical documentation in line with DHA and international standards.
• Participate in audits, quality‑improvement initiatives and CME activities.

Required profile

• Board certification in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (ABPMR, UK CCT/GMC, European Board, Canadian/Australian Fellowship, Arab Board, FCPS, MD/DNB/FNB).
• Minimum 3–5 years post‑board clinical experience.
• Eligibility for DHA licensure or an active DHA license.
• Proven experience in multidisciplinary rehabilitation and pain‑management settings.
