Consultant Physician – Pediatric Pulmonology

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Consultant Physician specialized in Pediatric Pulmonology to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The role involves delivering comprehensive primary and specialty care to children with respiratory conditions, injuries, and common illnesses.

Key responsibilities

• Examine patients, take detailed medical histories, and address their concerns.
• Diagnose and treat injuries, illnesses, and respiratory disorders.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests, explaining results to patients and families.
• Counsel patients on diet, hygiene, preventive health, and lifestyle modifications.
• Maintain accurate patient charts and update treatment information.
• Develop and recommend individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications or therapies and explain medical procedures.
• Collaborate with other physicians, refer to specialists when needed, and work closely with nursing and support staff.
• Ensure compliance with medical regulations and patient privacy laws.

Required profile

• Medical degree with successful completion of residency and internship.
• Valid state license and certification to practice medicine.
• Broad knowledge and experience in diagnosing and treating a wide variety of illnesses.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Leadership, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Detail‑oriented, dexterous, and patient‑focused.
• Commitment to staying current with advancements in pediatric pulmonology.
