Consultant Specialist Cardiologist – Western Qualified

About the role

A leading healthcare organization in the UAE is looking for an experienced Consultant Cardiologist with a recognized Western qualification to join its specialist cardiology team. The role involves delivering comprehensive cardiovascular care across inpatient, outpatient and emergency settings.

Key responsibilities

• Provide specialist/consultant‑level cardiology services.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions.
• Perform and interpret ECG, echocardiography, stress testing and other cardiac investigations.
• Manage patients with coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, valvular heart disease and related conditions.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with cardiac surgeons, electrophysiologists, radiologists and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with UAE healthcare regulations and hospital policies.
• Participate in clinical governance, teaching, research and quality‑improvement activities.

Required profile

• MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree.
• Recognized Western Board or Fellowship qualification in Cardiology.
• Relevant consultant‑level clinical experience, preferably in a tertiary‑care or teaching hospital.
• Current specialist registration and good professional standing.
• Eligibility for DOH/DHA medical licensing.
• Strong clinical, communication and leadership abilities.
