Consultant / Specialist Medical Oncologist – Dubai

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Medical Oncologist to join our multidisciplinary cancer care team in a leading tertiary‑care hospital in Dubai. The role involves delivering comprehensive oncology services within a modern, JCI‑accredited facility equipped with advanced diagnostics and infusion suites.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of solid tumours and selected haematologic cancers.
• Develop individualized treatment plans using chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted and hormonal therapies.
• Administer and monitor systemic cancer treatments, ensuring safety and protocol adherence.
• Assess treatment response, adjust regimens, and manage therapy‑related toxicities.
• Participate in tumour board meetings and coordinate care with surgical, radiation, pathology and radiology teams.
• Provide patient and family education on diagnosis, treatment options and supportive care.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and comply with regulatory standards.
• Contribute to clinical audits, research projects and quality improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Board‑certified or specialist qualification in Medical Oncology (e.g., American Board, UK CCT/MRCP, European Board).
• Minimum of 3 years post‑certification clinical experience.
• Experience working in outpatient clinics and inpatient oncology services.
• Strong knowledge of international oncology guidelines and UAE healthcare regulations.
