Consultant Urologist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Urologist to provide comprehensive diagnostic, medical, and surgical care for patients with a broad range of urological conditions. The role involves managing complex cases and performing endoscopic, laparoscopic and minimally invasive procedures in a multidisciplinary Dubai setting.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct outpatient consultations, examinations and clinical assessments for a variety of urological disorders.
• Diagnose and manage complex conditions including kidney stones, BPH, urinary obstruction, infections, incontinence and lower urinary tract disorders.
• Provide care for urological malignancies such as prostate, bladder and kidney cancers.
• Perform endoscopic, laparoscopic, minimally invasive and robotic urological surgeries, including cystoscopy, ureteroscopy and lithotripsy.
• Oversee pre‑operative assessment, intra‑operative care and post‑operative follow‑up for elective and emergency cases.
• Interpret laboratory results and imaging studies (ultrasound, CT, MRI) to guide treatment plans.
• Collaborate with oncology, nephrology, radiology, anesthesia and other multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in on‑call duties, clinical governance, audits and mentor junior doctors.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree and recognized postgraduate qualification in Urology.
• Board certification, CCT/CCST, fellowship or equivalent recognized by UAE health authority.
• Consultant‑level clinical experience in urology with a strong record of managing complex cases.
• Eligibility for a valid DHA Consultant licence preferred.
